"People doN't DaNcE No Mo' "

Have you ever felt like you just wanted to have a FUN-FILLED night, so you and some friends decide to go out and party all night long. When you get to the club or lounge, etc. you notice faces that make you think, "damn im so tried of seeing him/her in every club I go to". Well have u ever stopped to think that JUST MAYBE they feel the same way about you..hmmm. Personally, im not a big "club head" anymore for several reasons, but one that was brought to my attention today was, WHAT IS THE POINT IN CLUBBING?!" At most clubs nowadays, people are going for the fashion show of it and they do nothing but stand around and listen to the music...but WAIT, can't u do that at home?? You pay $20+ to get in just to do what u can do at home, FOR FREE! LOL...think deeply about this guys...SAY WHAT'S REAL!

  1. I was just having this conversation the other night. I agree completely!!! I cant even remember the last time I even danced with a guy in the club. Like seriously. I would feel so childish doing so. I feel like at this point, most of the songs have cheesy dances to go with them that I will not be caught dead doing in a club {too old for that}. I can admit that at times I get the urge to "go clubbin" and dance and have a good time but half the time, once I get there, it consists of walking around, posting up, and making bathroom trips with the girls. Im too young to be tired of the club scene but I feel like I really am! Whatever happened to a good "old fashion" girls night out??? I miss the good ol days when I was in college {freshman and sophmore year} when it was guaranteed to be a fun night. What's a girl to do now for fun and an excuse to dress up???

  2. UMM...ok....this is a NO-BRAINER...its ENTERTAINMENT...just that...and like all entertainment...YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET...better yet...WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT! I feel as though "going out" can be fun no matter where you are or how often you go. If you walk in and consume yourself with what others are thinking...then maybe there are some insecurities...because thats what people do...."when we stop they stare"..lls! If you go in just to walk around or post up..umm..then maybe you went with the wrong ppl or need a few more drinks=) lol...either way...you're being BORING by choice...no matter your age. I know that where Im from...my girls and I are use to ppl looking and hating because we make the most of any situation and have a good damn time among ourselves...I mean after all...thats what we paid for! Anyhoo..."going out" or "clubbing" provides opportunity to socialize, meet new people and enjoy yourself and while you could stay home to achieve most...your twenties are for living it up...so why not make the most of it?????

  3. WELLLLLL WELL... The only time I go to a club is if Im going with a group of friends and we have a great time ALWAYS.. We can careless about whos in there or who is looking at us.. (we already know they are going to look) We drink, two step, and laugh at people in the club looking a mess "Im just keeping it REAL" LLS.. When Im in my hometown "Wilmington" I'll go alone, bc Im sure ill know everybody in the club.. Majority of the time I only go to see old friends knowing that's where I can catch most of them at once.. Either way it depends on the vibe your looking for as to what type of club you should go to.. Dancing and having a good time is your choice..

  4. I dont feel that everytime I go out to the club it is a waste but I do feel that most of the times it is. I have had some great times with my girls {on numerous occasions} "clubbin" but those times are few and far between at this point. I have to admit that one of the biggest reasons is because me and my bff's/ex-roomies are seperated and I dont like going out with just anyone. Of course, as *B mentioned, a little alcohol can make any party entertaining lol =) but at the end of the day {or in this case night} Im not sure how I feel about clubbing at this point in my life...

  5. I personally love the club scene! Anyone who knows me knows I love to dance and it seems, at a club with the loud music and the lights it gives me so much energy! I can hear a song on the radio and jus say ugh, i hear that song too much, but if that same song comes on in the club I sing all the words and love every minute of it. It's that club enviornment that gives the song that extra umppphhh. Now going to the same club seeing the same faces does get quite redundant but I guess it's all about why you go to the club in the first place. Is it to have fun with friends, or to just be seen? I can say I am guilty of both at some point of my life but that's what the club scene is all about. I'm still young and love traveling to different places going to different clubs. It's jus exciting to me, but I do suppose later on in my life the club will not be the place for me. When I become a tru adult, i will be able to put the club scene in my past but until then... PARTY PARTY PARTY Let's ALL get WASTED!!!

  6. I've gotten to the point where the club scene is not my thing. But like [Exotic]said, who I'm thinking is Staci..lol, songs just sound better in the club. Maybe I need to get a Bose Sound System in my house. No, but seriously, the club scene is entertainment. Naturally you pay to be entertained. The same goes with the movie theater. You can watch movies and pop your own popcorn, but you would rather do it at the theater on a larger level for a larger price. It's all depending on what you like. Now more recently when I club, I'm way more chill than I use to be. Hardly dance up on anything, just sit back, have a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. And that's rare. Maybe once a month or so lately. We all have been that person that was in the club every weekend and probably more than one night a week. But eventually, that scene got old to me...quickly. I can't say whether its an age or maturity thing, but whatever it is, it is so different for different people. Some go to find some cutty, others go for the music, some like to dance, and others like to drink. So whatever your reasons are for going, just have fun.
